Hard luck to our hard working U14 team today. They lost out to Aghada in their opening league match played in Rostellan this evening. The score doesn't reflect the how the game played out. Aghada got off to a flyer but they didn't have it all their own way. They were just more clinical when it came to converting their scores. As the contest progressed our girls grew in confidence and really put it up to our hosts. They game was blown up 8 minutes early , due to an error, and if the game were to continue we would have been a lot closer in the end. But unfortunately it was not to be, but definately the game will stand to them as they progress in the league campaign. Well done everyone.
